Our individual session rates vary from $120-$140 a session. Relationship and family sessions start at $135 a session. Sliding scale rates are offered at a lower cost, as well as session coverage through Non-Insured Health Benefits (NHIB/FNIHB) and Jordan’s Principle. Please contact your therapist for more information.

Your first session is meant to introduce yourself to your therapist and share as much or as little of your story with them as you would like. Your therapist will likely explain more about how they work, and you may ask any questions you have. Your therapist will also review the Informed Consent to Therapy forms with you.
It is a good time to discern if you feel open and comfortable continuing the therapeutic relationship with them. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and nurturing space where you feel safe, accepted, and look forward to coming back.

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment, except in the case of sudden illness or emergency. Our policy is to bill the full session rate for any missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 24-hours notice. This allows us to make room for clients on the waitlist and ensure that people are not kept waiting too long while spots open up.

Informed Choice care provides clients with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their mental health diagnosis, psychiatric drugs, adequate social support, and understanding people's struggles within the social constructs and context of their lives. We offer an approach to therapy that incorporates alternative ways of understanding and knowing oneself and the systems in which we are living.
For more information about informed choice, please review our policy.
