“The therapeutic relationship is an essential aspect of why therapy works. A strong therapeutic alliance encourages active participation by the client in their own healing process, which leads to better outcomes. My focus during our time together will be ensuring that you feel understood, respected, and supported as the expert in your own life. I draw from CBT, self-compassion, and mindfulness practice as tools that have proven to be beneficial for individuals as they work towards their goals. I know from my own life and many years of helping others that putting yourself first and asking for help can kick up a lot of fear and shame – but I strongly believe that slowing down and looking inside can help you harness your strengths and navigate your life in a more manageable way. I look forward to working together!”
